Calculate the complete cost
Budget for the security deposit, agency commission, Ejari registration, utility activation and possible building charges in addition to rent.
Verify the property and agent
Confirm the landlord's authority and the broker's credentials. Inspect the unit and record its condition before accepting the keys.
Read the contract
Check dates, payment schedule, maintenance duties, early termination and renewal notices. Do not rely on verbal promises.
Use official channels
Confirm procedures through Dubai Land Department and RERA. Seek the competent authority or a licensed lawyer when a dispute requires advice.
